YOUTH

A Spirit-led and activated youth group awakening this generation to the power and love of Jesus.

ARISE Youth meets every Wednesday at 6:30pm on the ARISE Campus.

What can a student expect? After the opening time together of fun and connection, we share a topic of the night. Then, High School and Middle School students break out into separate groups for discussion and connection.

Middle School Huddles

ARISE Youth Middle School in attendance on a Sunday meet together after the opening time of worship to have round table discussions and lessons on the topics being covered in the weekly messages.  With open Bibles, time is given for questions and wider discussion.

ARISE Youth Worship

Every first Wednesday, we gather to focus on experiencing God in worship. We believe encountering the reality and presence of God changes everything! Students are equipped every Wednesday to practice a worship lifestyle.  We want students to be  empowered to be a 7 day a week Christian with friends, family and at school.

Parent Resource Nights

We are champions of parents who are the primary spiritual influencers of their teens. Once a month, parents can come in and get advice, instruction and material in order to help with discussing hard but critical topics necessary for raising kids, teens and young adults today.

Annual Experiences

My City Youth Conference

My City 2024 is on March 1st and 2nd.

We join our friends from Jesus Culture Sacramento and dozens of other churches for a large gathering of youth who are hungry and expectant for God to move through them and in their “City”. Students are  inspired, encouraged, taught and prayed over by pastors and their peers.

ARISE Kids’ Camp

ARISE Youth are a big part of our annual Kids Camp where teens are invited into training and preparation to be part of the Kids Camp Dance Crew (KCDC), tech team, small groups, and game leaders. Our focus with students is to build them up to serve and lead.

Summer Camp & Campout

A chance for ARISE YOUTH to be together in God’s creation, without distraction of phones and the busy world around them. Teens connect in deeper relationships with each other and can go after God in worship and prayer without the pressure of time. And camp is fun!  Games, hangouts, hikes and competitions help students build lifetime memories. We take a bonus day camping to give our students opportunities to be in beautiful wilderness. This “locks in” camp as they share testimonies of how they were impacted and make plans for the future, and enjoy a time with just the core ARISE YOUTH group.

Coming in 2024

We will be launching four retreat experiences for our students.  The goal is to have every student empowered to mature discipleship by the time they reach their senior year.

  • 6th Grade Reality Retreat - Helping our sixth graders embrace the reality of their relationship with God and how it will help them address the realities of being a teenager and heading to middle school.

  • 8th Grade Relationships Retreat - Walking through the ins and outs of real friendships, dating and sexual integrity.

  • 10th Grade Revival Retreat - A time for the sophomores to go deeper in identity in Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit

  • 12th Grade Resilience Retreat - Preparing our seniors for their next steps into adulthood, university and the workforce
